Christella Demetriou paints her visions with an ingenious directness or better still transforms metaphysical messages, which are realised by her artistic sensibility, into a visual language. Through her recent work and particularly the series entitled “Atopos”, Christella has, not only touched on but also without precedent reached a peak in her work. The artist’s heightened sense of colour leads to a metaphysical harmony concerning the aesthetic of composition.
