MARY SAMOLI

For her current exhibition, Mary Samoli returns to her favorite theme, wreaths; for once more she uses materials and objects -which were created and intended for another purpose- composed with pearls, sea glass, corks, antique jewelry, sheets of gold etc. creating artworks that trigger associations, like memories of recent or distant past. Once again, the core of her work is the labyrinth of the human memory.
