In the second phase of Apostolos Yayannos` solo exhibition of sculpture we are in time and theme ... after EDEN. The problem remains and continues to be amplified in a prediction that hopefully will be proved wrong; Like This We Have No Future (Translation of the Greek acronym for the word E.D.E.N.). The artist, in an either suggestive or direct way, brings forward issues of environmental concern. Here, ecologic consciousness disclaims any ecological illusion. The artist talks about ecology without moralizing through crocodile-pets lurking in the corners and Fashion Victims-reptiles still appear threatening to modern humans although they are disarmed. Once upon a time, Adam and Eve ate the apple. Now the happy couple would eat the snake. Sushi.
